You will need a good powerful planer if you are building a house or a cottage using wooden blanks. Knots, irregularities, curvatures must be removed and the surface beautiful and smooth. The Bort BFB-850-T planer with a stable cast sole will do just fine with this task. On the sole there are grooves for chamfering. Smooth adjustment of the working depth occurs with the help of the adjustment knob, and, importantly, there is an additional convenient handle for planing. In order not to damage the surface on the sole of the plane there is a retractable shoe. For convenience, it is possible to change the direction of the chip discharge and connect a construction vacuum cleaner. The kit includes a parallel guide for even planing and a depth gauge. Separately, it is worth noting the frame included in the kit, with the help of which the planer quickly turns into a planing machine, on which it is possible to process whetstones up to 82 mm wide.
